MULBERRY
ALUMNI
Nicola Austin – Never flashy, always quietly effective,
Nicola was one of the foundations on which the success of Mulberry was
built. She came in as a temp for a day and liked the company so much
that she ended up staying for four years! Nicola left Mulberry to return
to full-time education and is now working with children.
Natalie Callus – One of the original Mulberries,
Natalie returned to her native Australia in 1999 and moved in-house.
Last we heard she was heading up the Trade Marketing division of Dairy
Farmers.
Phil Cleave – A super, super guy and unwittingly
one of the funniest colleagues you could ever hope to have, Phil served
in the London office between 2002 and 2006. He returned to his native
Cheltenham where we are delighted to hear he prospers.
Carlo Colajori – Another very genuine person
who sadly did not stay with the agency too long. We believe he has returned
to his home city of Rome.
Eyndia Gopal – Ideas flowed thick and fast from
this London office account manager during his spell in Waterloo. Always
the life and soul of the party and entertaining to be around, Eyndia
is now working for another UK PR firm.
Farhana (Nadia) Habib – Nadia was the living
definition of a bubbly person. Charming, creative and tirelessly energetic,
Nadia left Mulberry to emigrate to Sydney.
Steve Harris – Liverpool fan Steve did some great work
for Mulberry in the London office on the Manugistics account in particular
between 2005 and 2006 before moving to another technology PR firm where
he continues to succeed. Everyone’s favourite “Steve story”
is how he nearly didn’t make it to the company’s 2006 kick-off
meeting in Iceland.
James Hughes – A former Sunday Times journalist,
James came up with some incredibly good pitch ideas while at Mulberry
in 2004 and 2005. Since leaving Mulberry he has worked for various PR
agencies in London.
Sarah James – One of our first ever interns,
Sarah developed into a fantastic Account Executive coping with a heavy
workload with minimal fuss and consistently producing great results
for clients.
Sara Johnston – A Mulberry London stalwart between
2001 and 2007, Sara was the agency’s first ever Consultancy Services
Manager and for a long while was the administrative “glue”
that linked the Mulberry worldwide offices together. She left Mulberry
for a complete life change and is currently running a pub near Canterbury,
England.
Alison Joyce – Alison worked in Mulberry’s
London office between 2004 and 2006 where she was adored and respected
by all members of the team. She is now holding down a big job working
for a PR company specialising in healthcare.
Alison King – “American Alison” worked
from Mulberry’s London office from 2003 to 2005 where her proactivity
and efficiency won her much respect from clients and colleagues alike.
Alison returned to the US to work for Atlanta based JacksonSpalding
before entering the legal world.
Rafal Kwaitowski – Poland’s finest was
with Mulberry for just a brief period but he made an impression on all
in that time. Who knows Rafal may even rejoin Mulberry in the future?
Kelly Patterson – Ex-journalist Kelly was an
important hire for the Chicago offi
ce where she worked with distinction.
One of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet, Kelly is now in
an in-house role at a multi-billion dollar US organisation.
Jennie See – Over in the UK from North Carolina,
Jennie had a sharp PR mind while working in the Mulberry London office.
After a few months with Mulberry, she was lured away to the bright lights
of fashion and FMCG PR.
Marissa Vicario – Mulberry’s second ever
employee in the USA, Marissa worked in the Chicago office before moving
to New York. Marissa’s naturally excellent PR talents were honed
at Mulberry and she is now Public Relations Manager at internet security
firm MessageLabs www.messagelabs.com/
