Chris Klopper founded Mulberry Marketing Communications in 1995.
His experience as a journalist drove his desire to launch a marketing and communications agency – one dedicated to living and breathing its clients’ business.
In order to fulfil this lifelong dream and without a client in place, Chris mortgaged his house to fund Mulberry. Through Chris’s leadership, hard work and perseverance, Mulberry has grown from a two-person start-up to an international communications agency with offices on three continents.
Chris’s enduring legacy was helping people to thrive. Chris was most passionate about helping clients, employees, business partners and anyone who touched the Mulberry family to achieve success – both professionally and personally. Chris Klopper sadly lost his brave fight with Glioblastoma on June 17, 2018.
As a tribute to Chris, Mulberry has selected The Brain Tumour Charity as our pro bono Charity Partner.
In addition to providing pro bono digital and campaign creation services, Mulberry also holds an Annual Fundraiser in all our offices where we aim to raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity to help them run research projects around the world.
