Mulberry Recognized for Contest Management

CHICAGO – March 10, 2020 – Mulberry Marketing Communications has been awarded an honorable mention in Ragan’s PR Daily Awards for its work on Cintas Corporation’s 2019 Custodian of the Year contest. The awards program recognizes the most outstanding public relations campaigns and initiatives of the year.

Each year, Custodian of the Year seeks nominations for the best custodians from school administrators, teachers, students, parents and community members. In addition to securing coverage around the launch of the contest, Mulberry conducts pitching in the 10 finalists’ media markets to win placements and encourage public voting. Mulberry then helps Cintas and its contest partners promote the winning custodian through a celebratory event at the employee’s school.

The 2019 contest collected more than 278,000 public votes, and crowned Aristeo Flores of Scotts Valley (California) Middle School as the winner. Mulberry secured more than 200 media placements, which captured 56.4 million media impressions valued at $294,000.
