I\u2019ve always loved the creative aspect and the diversity in accounts. One day you can be working on a tech account and another day you could be working on something completely different. After taking nursing prereqs for a semester, I quickly learned that I needed to pursue a career in a creative field and made the switch to PR.<\/p>\n
Does eating an absurd amount of cheese count?\u00a0 I once spent hours in the Cheese Museum in Amsterdam and people usually gift me with cheese\u2026<\/p>\n
If not, then I like reading or working out. In the last year, I\u2019ve finally gotten back into a fitness routine after going on a hiatus for nearly two years. I used to be a spin instructor, so spinning is my go-to workout. It\u2019s absolutely kept my mind at ease during the pandemic.<\/p>\n
My (new) favorite activity is walking around the city aimlessly. I love walking through each neighborhood and seeing how unique they are, even though they\u2019re all part of the same city.<\/p>\n
I went to Italy for my cousin\u2019s wedding, which was in Avellino just east of Naples. We decided to extend the trip and visit a bunch of other cities such as Rome, Assisi, Venice, Sienna, Vatican City and Montepulciano. My favorite part of the trip was drinking wine at a table in front of the Duomo with my sister and now brother-in-law in Florence. I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve reached that level of relaxation since I\u2019ve left and I\u2019d very much so like to go back.<\/p>\n
However, before I go back to Italy, I\u2019d like to visit Santorini. I\u2019d love nothing more than to be poolside with a view of the Aegean sea in front of me.<\/p>\n
I wanted to be an actress, which is honestly hysterical considering I hate having attention on me now. Although I played bass in bands for years, I\u2019ve developed a bit of stage fright. It\u2019s why I love PR\/Marketing so much. I get to do all the behind the scenes work.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s definitely our monthly happy hour at some of our favorite spots in River North (where our office is). We went to Centennial for my first happy hour with Mulberry and had some of the best beer cheese dips I may have had in my life. That\u2019s the first place I\u2019d like to return to for happy hour once the pandemic is over.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
